Preserved Vintage Wall Clocks

Clock Manufactured in Switzerland, 1952

Authentic electric mechanisms, restored in Switzerland.

Self-adjusting. Precise.

These clocks have already lived one life. VEEB gives them another.

Mending is better than ending

Vintage wall clocks are popular, and you frequently see them for sale, but not all of them are equal. All too often, the original movement has been swapped for a cheap quartz replacement, kind of like pairing a Ferrari chassis with a sewing machine engine. It'll look good in your driveway, strangers will be impressed, but you'll always know. This pains us to see. Sometimes we have the parts to convert one of these downgraded clocks back to something closer to the original, like with this Seiko ship's clock.

Vintage clock movements are too good to lose. So we restore mid-century mechanisms by hand in our workshop, cleaning, servicing, and returning them to accurate, self-adjusting, reliable time. We restore sympathetically, leaving a few cosmetic indications that the clock has some history.

Inspection records found on the back of one of our clocks, dating back to 1944.
